 Successful students will earn their certification in Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS).  We have fun learning about serious business!

These classes are perfect for pre-teen or teen entrepreneurs who want to increase their earning potential and stay competitive in today's babysitting market!  

 Child and Babysitting Safety:  Babysitting is serious business and is often a young person's very first paid job.  This class teaches new babysitters all about this important job - babysitting is not just "watching" the children, but being responsible for making sure that they are safe and well cared for.  Students learn the ins and outs of the babysitting business, positive discipline strategies, basic child care, how to pick age appropriate activities, what to expect of different developmental stages and how to handle an emergency situation.  Topics include CPR, how to handle a choking infant/child, and Basic First Aid techniques.
